A stunning session to add to my Heashot Photography London Ontario blog! Sarah recently contacted me to book a custom professional headshot session. We had a fantastic time collaborating ideas for the direction of her session and the results are stunning. Sarah is a Canadian composer and educator.

Canadian composer and educator Sarah Quartel is known for her fresh and exciting approach to the choral experience. Sarah celebrates the musical potential of all learners by providing singers access to high quality repertoire and engaging music education. Her works are performed throughout the world and her curriculum documents are used to connect the excitement of choral festivals with meaningful classroom learning.
Sarah’s compositions have been featured by groups such as the National Youth Choir of Canada, the Nathaniel Dett Chorale and the a cappella group Rajaton. In 2015 her ACDA commissioned work “Wide Open Spaces” received its premiere performance under the baton of Bob Chilcott at the National Conference in Salt Lake City. In 2016, Sarah was featured at the Association of British Choral Directors Convention in Winchester, England. In 2017, her composition “God will give orders/Sweet child” will be performed by the Honor Children’s Choir at the National Conference of the ACDA in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
